College Football Week 11 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Georgia vs. Mississippi State

Following their most critical win of the season last week at home vs. Tennessee, the #1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs will attempt to avoid a potential flat spot as they head west to Mississippi State in a key SEC matchup. For the home Bulldogs, a slow start was overcome last week, as they rallied to beat Auburn at home 39-33 in a game they desperately needed to stay relevant in the SEC West. With two of their losses this season coming against top 10 teams in LSU and Alabama, a road loss to Kentucky on October 15th is their only bad loss of the season.

As for Georgia, their 27 points last week brought their average down to 40.1 points per game, as did their 387 yards of offense bring down their total yards per game average (514.2). While I like Georgia to win outright, I think Mississippi State’s passing attack which currently ranks #9 in the country with 324.3 yards per game gives them enough to keep this one inside the number.
