College Football Week 11 Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Nov 10, 2022 - 4:16 PM

The college football landscape was shaken up again last week as both Alabama and Clemson fell, offering our first glimpse at a playoff without the two yearly staples. However, this week’s parlay will look elsewhere to two teams surging up the polls with eyes to the ultimate prize and will look to a high-octane offense facing one of the worst defenses in football. Let’s take a look at each matchup in greater detail.

LSU (-3) at Arkansas

Off the heels of an amazing performance against Alabama last week, LSU is only a 3-point favorite against sliding Arkansas? This is sure to be one of the most public sides this year and poses an obvious letdown spot. Still, with no room for error in LSU’s thin playoff hopes, a chance to avenge last season’s loss, and several players looking for bragging rights against their former teammates (Dwight McGlothern and Landon Jackson transferred to Arkansas, with Greg Brooks and Joe Foucha going the other way), I think LSU will come out swinging.

I’ll back the Tigers, who have seen tremendous mid-season strides from Jayden Daniels (72% completion, 14 total TDs, 0 INTs last 3 games), Kayshon Boutte, and Harold Perkins.

SMU (-17.5) at USF

In the highest-scoring regulation game in FBS history, SMU came out on top 77–63 over Houston last week. While they probably won’t score 77 again, SMU shouldn’t be too troubled to put up points on USF. SMU has one of the best passing offenses (331 yds/gm) and is going up against a defense that ranks in the bottom 10 in passing yds/game, yds/pass, and completion percentage.

Though SMU is no defensive titan of their own, they should be able to load up the box a bit to shore up their poor rush defense as USF backup QB Katravis Marsh has not been given the full reins of the offense since starter Gerry Bohannon’s injury given his inaccuracy (56% completion).

TCU (+7) at Texas

After suffering some disrespect in the initial CFP poll, TCU won another tough-fought game against Texas Tech last week. Though Max Duggan posted his lowest yardage totals and completion percentage of the year (195 yds, 52%), the Frogs could lean on Kendre Miller and their running game to close out the win. This week, Duggan should regain his favorite target Quentin Johnston (42 rec, 650 yds), who was out for most of last week’s game and regain the balance in the TCU attack that was missing last week.

The Horned Frogs have shown themselves capable of winning games by relying on the pass or the ground as needed. I think that flexibility will allow them to keep it within a touchdown against the Longhorns team that has routinely let teams back into the game in the second half.

3-Leg College Football Parlay

  • SMU -17.5 at USF (–110)
