College Football Week 13 Player Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions
RB Chase Brown OVER 144.5 rushing yards at Northwestern (-110)
Northwestern isn’t good, in any aspect of football. Chase Brown is really good and can’t be stopped even by an elite defense like Michigan has. This number is high for sure, but Illinois will want to play a methodical, run-heavy offense against a Northwestern team that can easily have its will broken. He should have 175 or so yards.
QB Caleb Williams OVER 27.5 rushing yards at Notre Dame (-120)
QB rushing props are always dangerous with sacks and even intentional grounding leading to lost yards, but I see a lot I like today and Williams is one of them. Notre Dame is a very solid defense and solid against the run. But they are better against the pass which means Williams will have to tuck and run after his first or second read often. His feet will be the key to the USC offense and he will rush for more than 50 yards easily.
Michigan QB JJ McCarthy UNDER 11.5 rushing yards at Ohio State (+100)
Usually I go over for QB rushing props but this one I am going under because I think Ohio State sacks McCarthy a few times and keeps his yardage low. He averages 4.5 carries a game and has only been sacked eight times all season, but he hasn’t faced a defense like this nor has he played in a big game. Give me the +100 number here and see if he caves under pressure if the clock in his head is a tick slow.
Kansas State RB Deuce Vaughn OVER 116.5 rushing yards vs. Kansas (-115)
Vaughn will get the carries to do this and the Kansas defense is pretty bad. They are second-to-last in the Big 12 in rushing defense behind only Oklahoma and give up more than 190 yards a game. Vaughn will easily hit the OVER on this.
Oregon QB Bo Nix OVER 29.5 rushing yards at Oregon State (-115)
And finally another QB rushing prop. You could have made a ton of money on Nix in this category this season but should you go on him with an ankle injury against a tough Oregon State defense? Yep. Nix was a statue last weekend against Utah with the ankle and all the designed runs were gone from the offense. But this week his ankle is doing much better, Oregon State won’t expect him to run as much and that’s when he will be dangerous. I can see less designed runs than the dual-threat Nix we saw in the first 10 games, but Nix will scramble and he will push over 29.5 yards because that’s who he is. In a rivalry game he won’t be able to stop himself. Mash the OVER.
