College Football Conference Championships Odds, Picks & Predictions: Kansas State vs. TCU

Arguably the biggest surprise in college football this season, the TCU Horned Frogs come into the Big 12 Championship game with a spot in the CFP on the line. Currently a perfect 12-0, the Horned Frogs have run the gauntlet but now face a red-hot Kansas State team to live to play another day.

To get here, TCU narrowly escaped Baylor two weeks ago, a week after beating Texas outright as 7.5-point underdogs. While the QB play has been decent, the Horned Frogs have leaned on their rushing attack which comes into this game averaging 198.5 yards per game. Their 41.3 points per game are good enough for #4 in the country.

After an early season loss to Tulane, Kansas State rallied to win seven of their last nine games, only losing to Texas and this TCU team. The Wildcats are also a team that relies on their rushing attack, averaging 210.2 yards per game on the ground.

I expect both teams to lean on what they know best, and for this one to see a lot of clock running throughout.
