We have finally reached the pinnacle of the 2022-23 college football season, as the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship is now just days away. With the storylines from both sides already well-known, let’s jump straight into the bets I have tee’d up to cover all the action.

(#3) TCU Horned Frogs vs. (#1) Georgia Bulldogs

• Leg 1: TCU +12.5 (-110)
• Leg 2: TCU 1st Touchdown Scorer – Quentin Johnston (+310)
• Leg 3: Stetson Bennett Alternate Passing Yards – 280+ (-105)

It’s been an amazing journey the Horned Frogs have had this year, to say the least. Even in their lone defeat of the year, it seemed more like they simply ran out of steam than Kansas State defeated them handily. The quarterback for TCU, Max Duggan, is a Davey O’Brien Award winner and Heisman finalist and is playing in the CFP with his sights set on the NFL Draft in a few short months.

They possess the potential top wide receiver in college football, as well, in future first-round draft pick and Jim Thorpe Award recipient Quentin Johnston. In the biggest game of his college career with the world watching, look for Johnston to be in the game plan early and for him to be the first to find pay dirt.

The Horned Frogs are currently up against a challenge that is unlike anything they have encountered this season, however. They have, indeed, risen to every new challenge, but the reigning champions sitting in front of them are built differently.

The reigning champions in the running are built differently. On their roster, the Bulldogs have 68 blue-chip recruits, including 15 five-star prospects. In comparison, TCU only has one five-star player and a total of 17 blue-chip players.

One player who wasn’t highly touted but has put the college ranks on notice is Georgia QB, Stetson Bennett. Fighting for the starting job last season before leading them to the promised land, the former 3-star prospect has turned into one of the best success stories in college football history. Big players do big things on big stages, and I expect a standout game from a Dawg legend.

Though Georgia likely takes this one on skill level and coaching, I have little doubt TCU will fight to the very end as they have all season. TCU covers this number.
