On this edition of the Black & Gold Banneret Podcast, we open with the news of the passing of former UCF president John Hitt and discuss his influence on UCF in general and UCF Knights Athletics in particular.

We then start the regular show with an update on the podcast’s future and some upcoming brand changes.

Jeff, Eric, Drew, and Kyle start the sports talk portion of the program with UCF Men’s basketball, their gut-wrenching losses to Memphis and Cincinnati this week, and how insane this year’s close games have been.

They then discuss some proposed rule changes for college football to speed up the game and give their suggestions for what rule changes we’d like to see that are not mentioned.

Finally, Eric recaps Softball’s weekend in Clearwater, and Bryson and Nick stop in to talk Baseball, XFL, Tennis, Track, and more.
