Broncos sign FB Johnson

Nov 22, 2007 - 8:44 PM ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (Ticker) - The Denver Broncos signed fullback Kyle Johnson, the team announced Thursday.

The 28-year-old Johnson returns to Denver for a second stint. A fifth-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2002, Johnson never played for the Panthers but landed in Denver via the New York Giants practice squad. He was waived by the Broncos on September 1 this year.

Johnson has nine rushes for 39 yards and one touchdown, as well as 323 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 33 passes in 44 career games for Denver.

The Broncos also waived guard Isaac Snell on Thursday.
