Roy Green to be inducted into Cardinals' Ring of Honor

(AP) Former Arizona Cardinals receiver Roy Green will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor at halftime against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Oct. 2.Green spent 12 seasons with the Cardinals in St. Louis and Arizona from 1979-90, starting as a defensive back and returner and ending up a star wide receiver. He finished his Cardinals career with 522 receptions for 8,496 yards and 66 receiving touchdowns in 168 regular-season games.
The two-time All-Pro selection (1983-84) and two-time Pro Bowl selection (1983-84) concluded his career with two seasons with Philadelphia. He will become the 16th member of the Ring of Honor.
