Jaguars sign veteran Linkenbach, release Oberkrom

(AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran offensive lineman Jeff Linkenbach and released rookie kicker Jaden Oberkrom.Linkenbach has played in 86 games with 36 starts during his six-year career. He played in all 16 games in three of his first four seasons in Indianapolis after signing with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He spent the 2014 season in Kansas City, seeing action in every regular-season game. He played for Miami and San Diego last season. Linkenbach played collegiately at Cincinnati, where he started 42 games at offensive tackle.
Oberkrom signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent earlier this month after a four-year career at Texas Christian University.
