Patriots sign WR Washington, rookie DE Kidder
Jul 27, 2017 - 5:17 PM The New England Patriots signed wide receiver Tony Washington and rookie defensive end Caleb Kidder, the team announced Thursday.Terms of the deals were not announced by the club.
Washington appeared on the respective practice squads of the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville before being elevated to the Jaguars' 53-man roster on Sept. 26, 2015. The 26-year-old reeled in a nine-yard reception and had an eight-yard run while competing in six career games with Jacksonville before being released on May 1.
Kidder joins the Patriots after being released by the Minnesota Vikings on Friday. The 23-year-old recorded 194 tackles and 14 sacks in 47 games at Montana.
