Jul 28, 2017 - 6:00 AM C Pat Elflein, a rookie third-round draft pick out of Ohio State, is getting rave reviews from the coaching staff. Don't be surprised if he moves ahead of young veteran Nick Easton by the midpoint of the preseason. Elflein has the perfect center's body and appears to be strong enough to handle the physical nature of the position. Coaches also believe he has the mental capabilities to learn the offense fast enough to be able to make all the line calls by the start of the regular season.
