Bills LT Glenn receives injection on ailing left foot

Aug 15, 2017 - 7:42 PM Buffalo Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn is considered week-to-week after receiving an injection to treat his sore left foot, the team announced Tuesday.

Sean McDermott said that Glenn traveled to Wisconsin to visit specialist Dr. Robert Anderson, but the coach did not disclose the nature of the injury or the injection.

"You never want to see anything linger," McDermott said Tuesday, per ESPN. "We've addressed it right from the start, in terms of the treatment end of things. We're hopeful at this point that (the injection) is something that finalizes it and knocks it out, and Cordy can return on a full-time basis."

Glenn has missed five of Buffalo's last eight practices as well as the preseason opener against the Minnesota Vikings last Thursday. The 27-year-old is not expected to play in Thursday's preseason contest versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Glenn, has started 72 games since his rookie season in 2012, during which he was selected by Buffalo with a second-round pick. He signed a five-year, $65 million extension in May 2016.
