NFL Note - Chicago Bears Wheaton, Markus
Aug 18, 2017 - 8:07 AM WR Markus Wheaton (finger) had surgery on a broken pinky finger and is out indefinitely. For Wheaton, it's been one medical situation after another. He had labrum surgery at the end of last season and was only partly involved in Bears offseason work, then had an appendectomy July 30 at camp. When he returned, he broke the finger. Wheaton is expected to be one of the Bears' deep threats on the receiver corps. No one has shouted yet.
