Aug 18, 2017 - 8:07 AM S Doug Middleton (torn pectoral muscle) was waived with the injured designation on Wednesday.Middleton was injured while making a tackle on a punt return in the fourth quarter of the Jets' 7-3 win over the Tennessee Titans in the preseason opener last Saturday night. He played in four games for the Jets last season and recovered a fumbled kickoff in the end zone for a touchdown in a 30-10 win over the Buffalo Bills in the regular season finale on Jan. 1.
