He caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Mallett and converted a two-point conversion in the second preseason game against the Dolphins. Donnell was signed July 30 after Dennis Pitta and Crockett Gillmore each went down with season-ending injuries. Donnell provides a veteran presence and started six games for the New York Giants last season. "It felt good to get out there and run around a little bit and just have fun again," Donnell said.
