Sep 19, 2017 - 1:15 AM RB Ezekiel Elliott will continue playing after a judge denied the NFL's appeal for a stay of the preliminary suspension injunction. Judge Amos Mazzant's ruling Monday in Texas means the case will now move to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, where the NFL has already filed an appeal in the case. Elliott, 22, was suspended six games by the NFL on Aug. 11 following a 13-month league investigation that he had multiple physical confrontations in the summer of 2016 in Ohio with his girlfriend at the time.
