NFL Note - Arizona Cardinals Wheeler, Philip
Sep 21, 2017 - 9:31 AM LB Philip Wheeler was re-signed by the Cardinals after he was released again Friday. The 6-2, 245-pound Wheeler spent the preseason with the Cardinals before being released on Sept. 8 and then re-signed on Sept. 11. The Cardinals originally signed Wheeler to a one-year contract on July 27. Wheeler, 32, is a nine-year NFL veteran who played in 133 games (66 starts) with the Colts (2008-11), Raiders (2012), Dolphins (2013-14) and Falcons (2015-16) with 513 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 25 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 15 passes defensed.No one has shouted yet.
