Bengals TE Eifert sits Thursday, likely out Week 3
Sep 21, 2017 - 4:46 PM Tight end Tyler Eifert sat out practice Thursday and is unlikely to play in Sunday's game at Green Bay due to back and knee injuries. After injuries dogged Eifert in 2016, he is off to a slow start and back on the shelf.
Eifert was targeted once in the season opener and has only four catches in two games.
The Bengals' offense is sputtering and with Cincinnati at 0-2, coordinator Ken Zampese already was relieved of his duties. Bill Lazor took over as the Bengals prep for the Packers' trip to Lambeau Field.
No one has shouted yet.
