NFL Note - Green Bay Packers Perry, Nick
Sep 22, 2017 - 8:43 AM OLB Nick Perry will undergo hand surgery later this week. It marks the second straight year Perry will have hand surgery."He's a violent football player," Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said. "He's physical. He plays the game the right way. If you look at his play style, I mean that's really part of his game, the violence that he plays with, with his hands."
The Packers signed Perry to a five-year, $60 million contract in March despite a lengthy injury history. Perry missed 20 games in his first five years and has never played a full season.
"Until we get through the surgery, I don't really have a timeline for you," McCarthy said.
No one has shouted yet.
