NFL Note - Indianapolis Colts Geathers, Clayton
Oct 13, 2017 - 1:45 AM S Clayton Geathers (neck) has not practiced with the team since last November. But the hard-hitting defensive back is getting closer to returning for limited work. Geathers underwent offseason surgery and was placed on the Colts' reserve/physically unable to perform list."I believe he's a week to maybe two weeks away to getting back on the field," head coach Chuck Pagano said. "Being in a red jersey, being with his teammates. All non-contact (work) for a couple week period. Then, integrate him into some individual stuff, some padded stuff and go from there. He's getting closer."
The Colts coach expects Geathers to be cleared to play in a game at some point this season.
No one has shouted yet.
