NFL Note - Minnesota Vikings Bridgewater, Teddy

Oct 16, 2017 - 6:38 AM QB Teddy Bridgewater, who dislocated his left knee and tore multiple ligaments 13-plus months ago, is hoping to come off the physically unable to perform list as early as this week. Barring any setbacks in his checkup with his knee surgeon on Monday, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday that Bridgewater is on track to could come off the PUP list. Bridgewater is eligible to begin practicing Monday. Vikings head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman said last week that Bridgewater will be evaluated by his surgeon to see if the quarterback is ready to return. Bridgewater has been sidelined being injured on Aug. 30, 2016, a week before the season. He hasn't played or practiced since. When he begins practicing, the Vikings will have 21 days to decide whether to add him to the active roster or keep him on PUP all year.
