Browns DT Meder leaves game with ankle injury

Nov 19, 2017 - 7:36 PM CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Jamie Meder left Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second quarter because of an ankle injury.

He will not return.

The Jaguars were leading 10-7 when Meder was injured.

Meder was working as a backup to starter Danny Shelton in the Browns' defensive line rotation.

With both teams trying to run the ball in cold conditions with snow falling, the Browns might miss Meder as the game wears on.
