NFL Note - San Francisco 49ers Marsh, Cassius
Nov 23, 2017 - 10:04 AM DE Cassius Marsh was claimed off waivers by the 49ers on Wednesday. Marsh was waived Tuesday by the New England Patriots, who surrendered fifth- and seventh-round picks to acquire him from the Seattle Seahawks in September. The 25-year-old recorded 19 tackles and one sack in nine games this season with New England. He has 74 tackles and four sacks in 46 career contests with the Seahawks and Patriots. Marsh is the second defensive lineman that the 49ers selected off the waiver wire this week. San Francisco claimed defensive tackle Sheldon Day off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday before releasing defensive end Datone Jones the following day.No one has shouted yet.
