Lions QB Stafford limps off field
Nov 23, 2017 - 8:42 PM DETROIT -- Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford limped off the field with a right leg injury after throwing a 43-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Jones early in the fourth quarter of Thursday afternoon's game against the Minnesota Vikings.Stafford was hit low by Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson after releasing the ball. The officials deemed that Johnson was blocked into Stafford and no penalty was called.
Trainers re-taped his ankle on the sidelines and Stafford returned for the Lions' next series.
Stafford has 21 touchdown passes this season, including two on Thursday. He had passed for 243 yards against the Vikings prior to the injury.
