NFL Note - Chicago Bears Jones, Howard
Nov 24, 2017 - 10:01 AM LB Howard Jones was promoted from the practice squad. Jones is a 6-foot-4, 238-pound outside linebacker who played in 20 games with five starts for Tampa Bay as a defensive end in 2015 and 2016. Jones suffered a torn ACL in November last year."He has some pass rush ability," head coach Fox said. "(Outside linebackers coach) Brandon Staley's been working with him. He's been on the practice squad, but he's been schooled in what we're doing and now he's got his opportunity."
