NFL Note - Baltimore Ravens Smith, Jimmy
Dec 5, 2017 - 10:39 AM CB Jimmy Smith, the Ravens' top player in the secondary who suffered a season-ending left torn Achilles injury in Sunday's game, has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs, the league announced Monday. Smith, 29, decided to drop his appeal and begin serving his suspension immediately after being injured in the 44-20 victory over the Lions. Smith, the Ravens' first-round pick in 2011, matched his career high with three interceptions this season. He started the Ravens' first 12 games and also had 26 tackles and nine passes defended.No one has shouted yet.
