NFL Note - Kansas City Chiefs Nicolas, Dadi

Dec 7, 2017 - 8:34 AM LB Dadi Nicolas will not return to the Chiefs this season after the club declined to remove him from the physically unable to perform list after the conclusion of his three-week practice window. Nicolas sustained a torn patellar tendon and ligament damage during the team's 2016 season finale against the Chargers on Jan. 1. The injury typically requires at least 12 months recovery, but Nicolas did practice the last three weeks to test his availability for this season. The team hopes Nicolas can return to full strength for offseason workouts.
