NFL Note - Denver Broncos Siemian, Trevor
Dec 15, 2017 - 8:30 AM QB Trevor Siemian was injured on a sack by LB Barkevious Mingo and was forced to leave the game in the first quarter. Siemian left with what Broncos coach Vance Joseph called a left shoulder sprain.Joseph didn't know the extent Siemian's left should sprain and wouldn't commit to starting Brock Osweiler a week from Sunday against the Redskins.
Siemian was 5 of 9 for 67 yards and an interception. Osweiler completed 12 of 17 for 194 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for an 18-yard TD.
"It's not up to me to decide but certainly I would love to be the starter of this football team," Osweiler said. "I take great pride in coming to work every day and trying to be a great teammate for these guys and being a Denver Bronco."
