Rams make Gurley, Donald inactive against 49ers
Dec 31, 2017 - 8:36 PM LOS ANGELES -- Running back Todd Gurley II and defensive tackle Aaron Donald were on the Los Angeles Rams' list of inactive players for Sunday's home game against the San Francisco 49ers.The Rams also announced that Sean Mannion was starting at quarterback in place of Jared Goff in the regular-season finale.
Los Angeles has clinched the NFC West championship, and Sunday's game at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum had little meaning for the Rams, who are guaranteed to host a playoff home game on Jan. 6 or 7.
Among the numerous lineup changes announced by the Rams was Malcolm Brown starting at running back in place of Gurley, a leading candidate for NFL MVP honors.
Donald leads the Rams in sacks this season with 11.
The 49ers listed no lineup changes.
