Aaron Rodgers will attend Packers’ minicamp
Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers did not participate in OTAs, but he is at Lambeau Field to participate in the mandatory minicamp this week. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: The four-time MVP did not attend minicamp last year, so it is encouraging for the Packers to see him do so this year. It will be the first look at Rodgers with his overhauled receiving corps, including rookie Christian Watson. Fantasy managers won’t be able to gauge much from it, but it will still be interesting to see.

DeAndre Hopkins (knee) set to be a ‘full go’ for training camp
Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins has been rehabbing his knee thus far during OTAs, but Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury stated that Hopkins is still on track to be a “full go” for training camp. (Source: Josh Weinfuss on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Obviously Hopkins is still set to miss the first six weeks due of the season to his PED suspension, however, him being at 100% in training camp bodes well for the idea that Hopkins will be a plug and play WR1 in Week 7 for fantasy managers. Obviously, it is still yet to be seen how the target share between Hopkins and newly-acquired Marquise Brown will look like, but it’s fair to assume that Hopkins will be a major part of this offense upon his return to the field.

Aaron Donald receives two-year, $60 million extension
Rams DT Aaron Donald is set to receive a major raise for the upcoming 2022 season, signing a two-year extension worth $60 million to stay in Los Angeles. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Donald is obviously one of the most impactful defensive players of our generation, so it comes with no surprise that the Rams gave him the money he asked for in order to keep him in LA. The perennial all-pro player is coming off an impressive Super Bowl performance and should once again anchor a Rams defense that should provide value in fantasy with the many turnovers and sacks they generate.

Deebo Samuel attending mandatory minicamp
Disgruntled 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is reporting for mandatory minicamp Tuesday, according to multiple reports. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Samuel, who is seeking a lucrative long-term contract extension, requested a trade back in April and skipped voluntary OTAs, but the 49ers have not expressed an interest in dealing the young wideout. Other wide receivers around the NFL, notably Davante Adams, A.J. Brown, Tyreek Hill, and Stefon Diggs, have signed massive contract extensions this season, though Adams, Brown, and Hill were all traded to new teams in the process. In 16 games last season, Samuel caught 77 of his 121 targets for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns while also rushing 59 times for 365 yards and eight more touchdowns. While a trade is still possible at some point, Samuel’s attendance at mandatory minicamp could be a step towards repairing his strained relationship with the 49ers.
