NFL Week 5 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Dolphins vs. Jets

Miami will be without Tua Tagovailoa for their matchup at the Jets. Even with Teddy Bridgewater under center, the matchup favors the Dolphins. Tua has been phenomenal, but with a healthy roster of pass catchers, Miami’s 2nd ranked passing DVOA should still have a day against a Jets defense that ranks 29th in pass defense DVOA.

Zach Wilson came back in week 4 and picked up where he left off last season, turning the ball over. However the Jets were able to win due to the Steelers own turnover woes. With a well rested Miami defense, the Jets will find it difficult to keep pace scoring with the Dolphins explosive offense, and if Wilson is turning the ball over, it will be impossible.

Bridgewater is 42-20-1 ATS as a starter in the NFL. Expect that trend to continue on Sunday in New Jersey.
