NFL Week 15 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

I ate crow last week. But not this week! Last week, I gave out three early bets in Week 14 to place before Week 13 concluded.

I suggested grabbing the Raiders at -5, and now they’re -6.5. I also acknowledged how a Bengals win over the Chiefs would move the Cincinnati line higher. We got them at -3.5, and now they’re sitting at -6 against the Browns. And even though the Dolphins lost to the 49ers last week, our bet of -1 on the Dolphins increased to -3.5.

We’ve got three compelling positive EV plays for this week. Let’s do the same for Week 15.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Colts just got smacked around by the Dallas Cowboys. In Week 14, they’ll be on a bye week, while the Vikings will be underdogs against the Detroit Lions this week.

Of course, the public thinks that the Lions vs. Vikings game is a trap. But there’s no such thing. The Lions are home, and the Vikings’ stats don’t show a 10-2 ball club.

However, if the Vikings defeat the Lions and go to 11-2 on the season, the Vikings will likely be bet up to a touchdown favorite against the Colts. The Jeff Saturday experiment is finished.

Bet: Vikings -5.5  (-110)

Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills

In divisional rivalries, I have a hard time believing that one team is a touchdown favorite over the other.

The Miami Dolphins lost their first game, with Tua Tagovailoa starting and finishing a game. That was against the best defense in the NFL, the 49ers. The Bills’ defense is good but not nearly as elite as the 49ers.

When the Dolphins rebound against the Chargers and the Bills struggle for a second time against the Jets, the Dolphins will no longer be a touchdown underdog against the Bills. This is incredible value for Miami.

The Dolphins should eventually come into this game at 9-4. They’re not a seven-point underdog against any team, especially a divisional rival.

Bet: Dolphins +7 (-115)

New England Patriots vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Bill Belichick and the Patriots will take on Josh McDaniels and the Raiders. McDaniels was a former assistant to Belichick before taking the job with the Raiders.

The Raiders and Patriots are both expected to win this week, but a road win against the Cardinals will be way more appealing than a Raiders win against a Rams team that could end up starting Baker Mayfield.

In December, most bettors will side with Bill Belichick and the Patriots. The Patriots have been in these situations before and have found ways to get into the playoffs. The Patriots also match up well against the Raiders and should be able to put up a solid amount of points against a Las Vegas team that has allowed nearly 25 points per game.

I’ll take the Patriots as +2 underdogs right now.
