Dec 22, 2010 - 8:45 AM Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Loui Eriksson scored his 100th career goal, Stephane Robidas recorded three assists and the Dallas Stars posted a 5-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens at American Airlines Center.

Brad Richards, Jamie Benn, Adam Burish and Karlis Skrastins also found the back of the net for Dallas, which improved to 11-2-2 in its last 15 games and surged to the top of the Western Conference standings.

Kari Lehtonen made 27 saves in the win.

"I thought our team really played a good skating game tonight. That's one of the quicker teams that we've seen this year," Dallas head coach Marc Crawford said.

Brian Gionta and Mathieu Darche scored for the Canadiens, who have dropped two in a row to begin their season-high seven-game road trip. Montreal has lost five of six overall.

Carey Price stopped just 12 shots in defeat.

Burish lit the lamp seven minutes into the contest and Benn beat Price on a short-handed breakaway to make it 2-0 with 6:01 remaining in the first period.

The Stars led 3-0 after Skrastins dug the puck out from under the Montreal goaltender and fired it home at the 2:31 mark of the middle stanza.

Darche put the visitors on the board at 10:43 of the second period before Richards restored Dallas' three-goal cushion on a deflected shot with three minutes left in the frame and Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban serving an interference penalty.

Gionta scored a short-handed goal at 12:15 of the third period, but Eriksson responded 53 seconds later on a deflection of a Mike Ribeiro pass.
