Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Lee Sweatt's first career NHL goal helped the Vancouver Canucks rally for a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators at Rogers Arena.

Alex Burrows notched the other goal while Roberto Luongo stopped 26 shots for the Canucks, who head into the All-Star break having won their past two games after dropping four straight.

Vancouver sits atop the Western Conference with 71 points and is tied with Philadelphia for most points in the NHL.

Shea Weber had the lone goal for the Predators, who have dropped their past two games. Pekka Rinne made 33 saves in defeat.

"That's a really good team over there so I thought we played a good game," said Rinne. "We let the game get away from us there and it ended up costing us."

Nashville has 60 points with a 27-17-6 mark, good for the fourth spot in the Western Conference. The team is six points back of Detroit for the top spot in the Central Division.

After the first two periods passed scoreless, the Preds scored 37 seconds into the third as Weber snapped home a rebound in the slot for his ninth goal of the season.

Vancouver, though, tied the game halfway through the frame as Dan Hamhuis sent a turnaround blast from the left point on net that was banged home by Burrows.

Less than two minutes later, Daniel Sedin picked the puck up in the Nashville end and before crossing the blueline fed the disc to Sweatt, who fired a shot past Rinne from the right circle for his first goal in his first NHL game.

"We were just trying to keep it simple out there," said Sweatt. "He fed me a great pass and I was just trying to make sure my shot went on net. It just happened to go in."

From there, the Canucks held on with Luongo stopping six shots in the final frame for the win.
