Chicago takes down Minnesota

Feb 17, 2011 - 5:40 AM Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Dave Bolland collected three assists and Corey Crawford turned away 33 shots in Chicago's 3-1 victory over Minnesota at the United Center.

"I felt good from the start and our guys played great tonight," Crawford said.

Brian Campbell and Troy Brouwer both scored power-play goals for the Blackhawks, who returned to the Windy City off a 2-2-2 road trip.

Matt Cullen netted a power-play goal and Jose Theodore made 34 saves for the Wild, who had their three-game win streak snapped Tuesday by Vancouver.

Campbell staked Chicago to a 1-0 lead, unloading a slap shot from the high slot at the 12:59 mark of the first period.

Cullen pumped home the equalizer at 6:59 of the third period, but the Blackhawks responded 34 seconds later. Brouwer held the puck below the right circle and sent a pass that deflected in off the stick of Minnesota defenseman Greg Zanon.

"It was an unlucky bounce for us," Wild forward Martin Havlat said.

Jake Dowell's empty-netter sealed the win with 59 seconds remaining.
