Panthers rally past Predators

Jan 14, 2011 - 5:02 AM Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - David Booth posted the game-winner with a little more than four minutes left in the contest, as Florida pulled out a 3-2 decision over Nashville at BankAtlantic Center.

Radek Dvorak and Rostislav Olesz also tallied for the Panthers, who have won two in a row following three straight losses.

Scott Clemmensen stopped 27 shots for the victory.

David Legwand and Colin Wilson hit the net for the Predators, whose six-game win streak was stopped.

Pekka Rinne allowed three goals on 34 shots in the loss.

On the deciding score, Olesz left a drop pass for Booth, who beat Rinne low to the glove side with 4:12 to play.

Nashville gambled, pulling Rinne with just under two minutes to play but failed to net an equalizer.

Dvorak gave the Panthers a lead just 3:22 into the contest when he finished off a 2-on-1 with Marty Reasoner by tapping in his pass from the left side.

Wilson countered for the Preds at 10:50, as he was on the doorstep to convert a Legwand pass from behind the net.

Legwand put the visitors ahead just after the midway point of the second period as he hit the far side on a low wrister from the right circle.

Olesz knotted the score roughly 3 1/2 minutes later.
