Oilers recall RW Stortini, C Schremp

Oct 13, 2007 - 10:04 PM EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers on Saturday announced they have recalled right wing Zack Stortini and center Rob Schremp from Springfield of the American Hockey League.

In corresponding moves, Edmonton assigned center Robert Nilsson and left wing Jean-Francois Jacques to Springfield.

Stortini played in 29 contests for the Oilers in 2006-07, tallying one goal on 17 shot attempts.

The 21-year-old Schremp played in one game for the Oilers last season, scoring no points on two shot attempts.

Nilsson played in five games for the Oilers this season, scoring one point. The 32-year-old center has played in 62 career games, tallying seven goals and 22 points for the New York Islanders and the Oilers.

Jacques played three seasons with Edmonton, scoring no points in 47 career games.
