Canadiens sign forward Artturi Lehkonen to 3-year contract
May 9, 2016 - 3:31 AM MONTREAL (AP) The Montreal Canadiens signed Finnish forward Artturi Lehkonen to a three-year, two-way contact Sunday.The 20-year-old Lehkonen had 16 goals and 17 assists in 49 games this season for HC Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League. He led the league in post-season goals with 11 in 16 games to help HC Frolunda win the Swedish championship.
Montreal selected Lehkonen 55th overall in the 2013 draft and he has taken part in the team's development camp the past three summers.
