Penguins recall LW James

Dec 15, 2007 - 7:55 PM UNIONDALE, New York (Ticker) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday recalled left wing Connor James from Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton of the American Hockey League.

James has played in 25 contests at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and is tied for second on the team in scoring with 16 points. He has not appeared in an NHL game this season.

James signed with the Penguins as a free agent on Augut 9, 2006. He made his NHL debut the previous season, playing in two games with the Los Angeles Kings.

He spent all of last season at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, where he registered 12 goals and 20 assists in 70 games.
