NHL Note - New York Rangers Gionta, Stephen
Aug 9, 2017 - 1:22 AM C Stephen Gionta signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders, the team announced. Gionta, 33, spent the first seven years of his career in the New York area, playing for the Devils for six seasons from 2011 to 2016. He joined the Islanders last season. The former Boston College standout had one goal and five assists in 26 games with the Islanders last season.No one has shouted yet.
