NHL Note - Buffalo Sabres Girgensons, Zemgus
Aug 18, 2017 - 8:12 AM C Zemgus Girgensons agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Buffalo on Thursday. The team announced the contract holds an annual average value of $1.6 million. Girgensons signed a one-year extension last September and totaled seven goals and 16 points in a career-high 75 games. Since being drafted by Buffalo in the first round of the 2012 draft, the 23-year-old native of Latvia has 37 goals and 86 points in 277 games.No one has shouted yet.
