NHL Note - St. Louis Blues Opilka, Luke
Aug 20, 2017 - 8:12 AM G Luke Opilka underwent successful surgery to repair a torn left hip labrum, the team announced Saturday. Opilka, 20, had been dealing with the injury throughout the 2016-17 season while playing for the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League. He is expected to be sidelined until December. Opilka was 13-13-1 in 31 games for Kitchener last season. The St. Louis native was drafted by the Blues in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL draft.No one has shouted yet.
