NHL Note - Ottawa Senators MacArthur, Clarke

Sep 15, 2017 - 1:22 AM F Clarke MacArthur failed his medical test Thursday and will not be with the Ottawa Senators for training camp, general manager Pierre Dorion said. MacArthur, who returned to the lineup in April after an 18-month absence while dealing with post-concussion symptoms, was examined on the opening day of Ottawa's camp. Dorion declined to divulge many details on the condition of MacArthur, who played in the final four games of the regular season and 19 postseason contests as the Senators advanced to the Eastern Conference finals. In 11 seasons with Buffalo, Winnipeg, Toronto and Ottawa, MacArthur recorded 133 goals and 171 assists in 552 regular-season games.
