NHL Note - Florida Panthers Tippett, Owen
Oct 18, 2017 - 8:36 AM RW Owen Tippett made his NHL debut in Tuesday's loss to the Flyers. He skated ona line with Jamie McGinn and Jared McCann. Tippett, taken 10th overall in the 2017 draft, led the Panthers with seven shots in 11:39 of ice time. "I thought he was our best player," Panthers first-year coach Bob Boughner said. "Great for him, but our other guys gotta check themselves in the mirror. If an 18-year-old kid playing his first game is your best player you're not going to have a chance to win many games, especially on the road."No one has shouted yet.
