Ducks recall C Kossila

Oct 23, 2017 - 4:14 PM The Anaheim Ducks recalled center Kalle Kossila from the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League on Monday.

Kossila, 24, played in one game with Anaheim last season, making his NHL debut on Jan. 25. He began this season with San Diego, collecting two goals, four assists and six penalty minutes in five AHL games.

At the time of his recall, Kossila led the Gulls in scoring, co-led in assists and ranked second in goals. The Kauniainen, Finland, native recorded 48 points (14 goals, 34 assists) and eight penalty minutes in 65 games with San Diego last season.
