Sabres recall D Redmond, place F Bailey on IR
Nov 7, 2017 - 3:24 PM The Buffalo Sabres recalled defenseman Zach Redmond from Rochester of the American Hockey League and placed forward Justin Bailey on injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday.Redmond is making his second stint with the Sabres this season after appearing in two games following a recall on Oct. 21. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound Redmond has recorded one goal and four assists in seven contests this season with the Americans of the AHL.
Redmond has collected nine goals, 29 assists and a plus-10 rating in 132 career games with the Montreal Canadiens, Colorado Avalanche, Winnipeg Jets and Sabres since being selected in the seventh round of the 2008 NHL draft by the Atlanta Thrashers.
The 22-year-old Bailey, who is nursing an undisclosed injury, has two goals and an assist in seven games this season with Buffalo.
