NHL Note - Calgary Flames Jagr, Jaromir

Nov 8, 2017 - 9:37 AM F Jaromir Jagr will return to the ice for Tuesday's game versus the visiting Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames coach Glen Gulutzan announced. Jagr skated on a line with Mark Jankowski and Sam Bennett during the Flames' morning skate on Tuesday. The 45-year-old has been sidelined since sustaining a lower-body injury in the first period of Calgary's 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 22. Jagr has two assists in five games since signing as a free agent with Calgary (8-6-0) at the end of training camp. The Flames are Jagr's ninth NHL team. Jagr is 51 games away from becoming the NHL's all-time leader in games played, currently held by Gordie Howe with 1,767. Jagr is second in career points behind Wayne Gretzky (2,857) with 1,916, including 765 goals.
