Wild recall F Mitchell from Iowa
Nov 21, 2017 - 5:46 PM The Minnesota Wild recalled Zack Mitchell from Iowa and reassigned fellow forwards Joel Eriksson Ek and Luke Kunin to the American Hockey League affiliate on Tuesday.Mitchell leads Iowa with 16 points (five goals, 11 assists) in 11 games this season. The 24-year-old Ontario native scored and set up a goal in five games with Minnesota in 2017-18.
Eriksson Ek collected one goal and two assists in 20 games with Minnesota this season. The 20-year-old Swede has 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 35 career contests with the club.
Kunin has scored two goals and set up two others during 17 games with Minnesota in 2017-18. The 19-year-old Missouri native, who was selected 15th overall in the 2016 NHL draft by the Wild, notched two assists in his NHL debut versus the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 14.
