NHL roundup: Tarasenko, Blues roll over Oilers

Nov 22, 2017 - 4:54 AM ST. LOUIS -- Vladimir Tarasenko completed a Gordie Howe hat trick -- scoring two goals, assisting on two more and getting into a fight -- to lead the St. Louis Blues to an 8-3 rout over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.

Brayden Schenn also scored twice and assisted on two more goals, extending his career-high point streak to eight games, as the Blues won their third in a row and improved their Western Conference-leading record to 16-5-1.

Milan Lucic, Leon Draisaitl and Darnell Nurse scored for the Oilers.



Canucks 5, Flyers 2

PHILADELPHIA -- Brock Boeser scored a pair of goals to lead Vancouver over Philadelphia.

The Canucks' Daniel Sedin added a goal and an assist to move within four points of the 1,000-point mark. Vancouver's Sven Baertschi picked up his eighth goal of the season, and Loui Eriksson added an empty-net goal and an assist.

Defenseman Ivan Provorov and right winger Jakub Voracek netted goals for the Flyers, who lost for the fifth straight time.



Stars 3, Canadiens 1

DALLAS -- Devin Shore and Tyler Seguin each had a goal and an assist, and Ben Bishop stopped 29 of 30 shots for Dallas in a victory against Montreal.

Jason Spezza also scored for the Stars, who improved to 8-2-0 at home.

Brendan Gallagher had the lone goal for the Canadiens, who lost their fourth straight.
