Blue Jackets recall LW Milano

Dec 9, 2017 - 4:25 PM The Columbus Blue Jackets recalled left winger Sonny Milano from the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League on Saturday.

Milano, 21, has five goals, five assists and four penalty minutes in 24 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He also has two assists in two contests with the Monsters.

The Massapequa, N.Y., native owns 11 points (five goals, six assists) and four penalty minutes in 31 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets. He has 85 points (32 goals, 53 assists) and 46 penalty minutes in 129 career AHL games with the Monsters and Springfield Falcons since making his pro debut at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.

Milano was the Blue Jackets' first-round pick (16th overall) in the 2014 NHL draft.
